Sometimes the best way to get into the swing of understanding and using french love phrases is to watch romantic french movies (with subtitles of course!).
Here are a few movies you might like to check out:
Le Fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain (Amélie), with Audrey Tautou and Mathieu Kassovitz, nominated for five Academy Awards. A very sweet, quirky and romantic film.
Les Enfants du Siècle is a love story starring Juliette Binoche and Benoit Magimel. Based on the (true) love affair between George Sand and poet Alfred de Musset. Very passionate!
Camille Claudel, starring Isabelle Adjani and Gérard Depardieu, was nominated for two Academy Awards. This movie is based on the life of Camille Claudel, a 19th century sculptor who had an affair with her teacher, August Rodin.
