Villa des Consuls Hotel in Sarlat

Our favourite hotel in France would have to be the Villa des Consuls, in Sarlat, a lovely old town in Dordogne. We stayed there last Autumn and absolutely loved it.

Compared to other hotels in the area we found it to be very well priced.

It’s clean, spacious and the staff there are really friendly and helpful.

They have rooms as well as apartments if you’re travelling as a group.

We’d highly recommend it…a real gem of a hotel. We’re already planning to have our 5th year anniversary there!

Parking isn’t very easy in Sarlat, so if you do stay at the hotel, we’d recommend asking them to help book a car spot for you for your own peace of mind.
